Stephen is a community organiser and founder of Dunn Street – a campaign house driving social change through data-driven community organising, leadership development and power building.

He began his career in the union movement before making the jump to political campaigning as Assistant Secretary for Victorian Labor in 2012, where he founded the Community Action Network — mobilising over 10,000 volunteers in the campaigns that elected and re-elected Dan Andrews as Premier of Victoria.

With over 20 years of campaigning across fourteen Australian election cycles and international campaigns spanning the US, New Zealand, Ireland and beyond, Stephen is also a Teaching Fellow for Marshall Ganz's Leadership Organizing and Action course at Harvard Kennedy School.
